The challenge

  • Blue Spruce Campsite, located in Southern Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, had an outdated website that wasn’t effectively attracting tourists.
  • The “Stay and Play” section, which is the middle screenshot on the left, listed local tours and attractions but lacked images and detailed information, making it difficult for visitors to plan their stay.
  • The goal was to modernize the site, improve usability, and create a visually engaging experience that highlighted activities, tours, and amenities to increase bookings.

The solution

  • Redesign the website with a fresh, inviting look that aligns with the natural charm of the campsite.
  • Improve navigation and content structure to make information more accessible.
  • Enhance the “Stay and Play” section by providing images, descriptions, and contact details for local tours, dining, and activities.

Next

  • Collaborating with a developer to introduce an online chat feature, allowing guests staying at the campsite on the same dates to connect and plan activities together.
